PSMtv Streaming Empty PSMtv Streaming

Just a heads up I think I will be ready to start PC streaming again in 2 weeks time or at least by the end of February. As for XBox and PS3, I think that will have to wait another month (March) since the cost for equipment will roughly be around 1000 and that includes games and a new PS3 that doesn't need to be re-soldering and an HDMI compatible Xbox slim. I will need some patience while I learn to use a capture card and studio microphone even though most people are very creeped out by my voice. I will also be introducing the XIM3 to Twitch TV viewers. Sorry for the lack of contribution to this community and the channel the past couple of months but I promise I will redeem myself. Z has done so much to keep this going and with everything going on he's still on top of things. I understand that there is quite the competition out there but I'm sure we can pull ahead with the support of our viewers. We are PSMtv and we stand our own ground, united.

I agree.
Jordan has done so much for our community.
I can't thank him enough for all of the hard work and hardship that he has been through.
THANKS, JORDAN.

Sorry that I fail so much as a partner. Sad

Great post. Wanted to say a lot more, but I just got real busy. Short and sweet: Thanks!

I've tried to keep things going as much as I can, but I do have a lot on my plate right now. That fucking XIM3 thing is hilarious and awesome. Has me highly interested. ROFL.

I'll help you out with your capture card and whatnot. YEAAAAH BUDDY!

So up until this point, I had no idea what a XIM3 was.
I looked at the website after having Google'd it.
Man, this looks so smooth, but the thing that I wonder is that would the Xbox graphics be able to keep up with the mouse speed?
Also, does dpi matter when it's being converted?

DPI is retained from your mouse drivers and saved into your mouse so it still works, but mouse is basically hooked up to a wired controller (can not use wireless or usb attached) and then converted to the joystick. So you are basically moving the joystick with your mouse. It won't be as smooth as the PC since the controller uses hardlined AXIS. This means left, right, down, up are straight movements and aren't fluidly able to curve. I can not use a controller at all so this would definitely help me play games on the Xbox. If you are good with the joystick then there's no point, but when I play it's too sluggish because I have no grip on the sticks and flicking them from side to side to a perfect distance doesn't work for me. Some people are better with the joystick but I separate my hands to use different sides of my brain to focus on targets. This is a new config I have started using for pro FPS players and I only aim and toggle scoping with my mouse. Mouse 1 is now the jump key (I still don't understand how Z used mouse 1 to walk forward). and my V key is to fire my weapon. This way I am much more accurate but I have to get rid of flickshooting. This will be difficult to get into and this will be basically my first time introduced into playing consoles (I have played before but at most 2 times a year for maybe 1 hour each then I'd jump back into PC gaming.).

I am delaying PC casting until sometime in April, but I will start streaming console games sometime early next month (March). New IVY processors from Intel (35% faster~) are being released in early April and new Nvidia cards (6xx series) sometime this month so I need to hold out on it.

Since console streaming needs a mixer for me to be able to use a mic, I probably won't be using one until later on. No one wants to hear my voice anyways =D

Sorry again for taking so long, but I want this to be our year to rise. I am more eager to start than you are but I want everything to be perfect and ready.

Using xsplit.. And bmi... There is no need for a mixer anymore for a mic. You can use a standard one.

Yup.
Jordan told me the same thing regarding using Xsplit and the BMI pro.
Although, that just means that the cables I sent won't be used.
Oh well. You could always just sell it on eBay or something. haha.

Personally, I adapt to whatever.
I can aim with joysticks, or I can use the mouse and keyboard.
I prefer the mouse and keyboard because it is more precise with a higher sensitivity.

So to update, since I haven't really been true to my word, I have my PC ready. I'm still waiting on the BMI capture card from Oxide to reach me but kids are complaining about how the XIM3 isn't fair and that it is like using an illegal third party program even when Microsoft clearly states in their terms that it is legit. I'll have to find a way to get it shipped from the States but minimum to ship it to SHITBAD Canada is around 40 bucks atm. The Xbox and games are set to go and I also already bought an X-SPLIT license. I will post a picture soon on the new specs but until then I will be adding another monitor to dual-screen (120Hz preferably for games) and eventually a much bigger TV. Hopefully the microphone on the new Razer Tiamat I pre-ordered will be somewhat good so I won't have to spend money early on a good mixer and studio mic. One last thing I need to take care of is the internet and the guy should be coming sometime soon to upgrade my connection to the best possible. May not be on time but trying my best to get this going. Even though no one else prob cares ololol

I also think we should make a more organized section for our streaming page. Maybe something with tabs that we could link to our information what we each will stream and our specs and rules even though they same may apply for every person. I want to link to other channels to bring other stronger communities together since there's no point in competing with other channels and link to our own channels so when we do play a game together we could have different player's perspectives but still notify viewers to follow our main Twitch TV page for updates (also forums and twitter).

P.S. Was wondering if we gave up and stuck to the name PSMTV now. It's not bad but still other names. I haven't seen or Google'd anyone using Antidote Gaming. Just a thought I wanted to share.

You're wrong regarding that people don't care.
I care.
I check our forums on a daily basis. It's become habitual.
Like I said, I really wanted to get us into reviewing games and stuff, but without the active members, it's kinda' hard.
I would love to get more communities involved with us, but I don't want it to be the type of people who is only in it for money.

In regards to the name, I'm honestly fine with anything as long as it's not completely out of the line.
